In Q4 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Bulgaria demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading apps, as provided by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a consistent download rate with slight fluctuations. Downloads ranged from 587 in late September to a low of 308 in mid-December, before recovering to 514 by the end of December. Weekly active users steadily increased from approximately 18.7K to 21.2K throughout the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw its downloads oscillate between 249 and 363. The highest download rate was observed in late November. Active users also saw a gradual rise from 2.1K to around 2.5K by the end of December.

Careem – rides, food & more maintained relatively stable download numbers, peaking at 109 in late October and dipping to 63 in mid-December. Weekly active users ranged from 144 to 197, showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver displayed a varied download pattern, starting at 80 and ending at 64, with a notable peak of 92 in mid-November. Weekly active users fluctuated but generally trended upwards from 341 to 370 by the end of the quarter.

Cabify experienced a decline in downloads from 76 at the start of the quarter to 40 by the end. Weekly active users also saw a slight drop, starting at 257 and ending at 214.
